What we do at the chair
Every cut starts with a two-minute chat about what you actually want. Then we get on with it. Every service finishes with a hot towel and a proper tidy-up of the neckline.
Skin fade
Blended to the skin with clippers, foil shaver and a straight razor on the edges. Zero to any length on top, styled to finish.
Scissor cut
Classic scissor-over-comb for crops, textured tops and longer styles. Washed, cut, blow-dried and styled with matte product.
Beard sculpt
Shaped with clippers and razor, lines cleaned up, hot towel and beard oil to finish. Sorts out a month of neglect in twenty minutes.
Hot-towel shave
Pre-shave oil, two hot towels, warm lather and a cut-throat razor. Cold towel and balm at the end. The proper old-school way.
Kids' cut (under 12)
Fast, patient and fuss-free. Clipper or scissor, same finish as the grown-ups. Weekday mornings are quietest if your kid isn't keen on noise.
Grey blending
Subtle semi-permanent colour that knocks the grey back without looking dyed. Washes out gradually over four to six weeks.
The shop
Bruno's has been on Rivington Street since 2016.
Bruno opened with two chairs, a speaker and a rent he couldn't quite afford. Eight years on there are six chairs, five barbers and a waiting list on Saturdays.
The idea hasn't changed: a barbershop where the cut is taken seriously and the rest isn't. Good music, cold drinks in the fridge, no upselling, and a barber who remembers how you like your neckline. Most of our clients have been coming for years. Plenty bring their sons now.

FAQ
Before you come in
Do I need to book?
No, walk-ins are welcome and we'll always try to fit you in. But Saturdays and weekday evenings fill up fast, so booking online guarantees your chair and your barber.
Can I ask for a specific barber?
Yes. Pick your barber when you book online. If you don't mind who cuts your hair, choose 'any barber' and you'll get the first available slot.
What if I'm running late?
Text us. Up to 10 minutes late is fine. After that we may have to shorten the service or move you to the next free slot so the person after you isn't kept waiting.
How do I cancel or move an appointment?
Use the link in your confirmation email or message us on WhatsApp. Cancellations with less than 2 hours' notice, or no-shows, are charged 50% next time you book.
Do you sell products?
Yes, we stock the matte clay, sea salt spray and beard oil we use in the shop. Ask your barber what they used on you and you can take it home.
Is there parking nearby?
On-street parking on Rivington Street is limited. Old Street and Shoreditch High Street stations are both a five-minute walk, and there's a bike rack outside.
